The Renegade

A stylized bird figure with a beak, wearing a blue shirt, seated on a motorcycle against a vibrant orange and red sunset backdrop, with rocky terrain visible in the distance.

The engine putters to a halt echoing off the sheer walls. Devlin exhales grittily—something between a hum of approval and grunt of fatigue. “We’re here Matilda.” Devlin looks out at solid rock, cut and scarred by unrelenting water. He runs a hand over Matilda’s battered frame. “Can’t leave your mark without taking a few yourself, right? Experiences don’t wear you, you wear them.”

Our Place in the Cosmos

A whimsical illustration of two anthropomorphic fox characters stargazing at night. One fox adult stands beside a telescope while a young fox looks through it, pointed towards the starry sky and a galaxy in the background. A campsite with a green tent and a campfire with two other foxes is visible in the foreground, set against a mountainous landscape.

Night’s quieter out here, kid. The desert listens and you can hear the universe. More stars come out than you’ve ever seen, going on forever. All those dots and feels like we’re just one of them. But take a closer look. That one dot’s really a thousand more, each a different colorful character. We’re all more than a mere speck in space. Every bit unique and we get to be a part of it.

Soak in Every Last Ray

Two cartoon bears in swimwear relaxing on inner tubes in a river, with mountains and trees in the background during a sunset.

“It’s not lazy! It’s strategy!” Runa insisted. “It’s too hot to do anything anyway.” Dagny just laughed; she didn’t need convincing. Runa tapped a makeshift beat; water splash snare, inner tube bass. “There’s no need to fear the heat. Summer’s gone in just a beat. Seize the day, get off your feet. Reapply. Relax. Repeat.” Dagny one-upped the absurdity with a second verse, a game continuing well past dinner time. “It’s time to get out,” Runa reluctantly noted, triggering the game’s response in unison: ”One! More! Time!”
